Five-time Grammy winner John Legend has a passion that leaks through every pour of his new album, Evolver, which is set to be released on the 28th. Legend's roommate at Penn State introduced him to his cousin, at the time an up-and-coming rapper, Kanye West. Since this meeting they've worked together on many projects and West has signed Legend to be the first artist on his music label, G.O.O.D. Music.
Through this connection with Kanye, Legend has had collaborations with some of the greats of our generation, including Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, and Lauryn Hill.
His music can set many different kinds of tones, from relaxation to inspiration to perspiration...John Legend is it.
